In John we read of individual impartation of the Spirit. The Risen Lord Jesus breathed on disciples (John 20:22). In Acts 2 we read of a more diverse global impartation of the Spirit... "And we all hear these people speaking in our own languages about the wonderful things God has done!” 12 They stood there amazed and perplexed. “What can this mean?” they asked each other. . ." (NLT).

Jesus chose the church as a starting place for sorting out both individual and global growth by the power of the Spirit (Matt 16:18). There is One Church, One Lord, One faith, One baptism we read elsewhere...

Join us at Faithbridge GMC for a new series. To remain healthy spiritually we answer our call to inward and outward Spiritual Growth. Healthy Spiritual Growth includes a commitment both to personal missions outside the walls of "church" in languages that differ. And to commit to a global church and its ministries to earnestly contend for the faith once delivered. This is important to keep things that do not strike at the root of Christianit y in perspective. Because there is a root- essentials to hold in tension for sake of Spiritual Health, essentials needed for faithful witness as part of the bride of Christ inside the "walls". Essentials so that the world may know Jesus as Lord rather than our own cultural or personal experience. Join us for the new series kickoff May 19 at 11:00 am. Holy Spirit bring fresh wind and fresh fire into our hearts as we explore  “What can this mean?” they asked each other. . ." (NLT).

In Christ and in church,

Pastor Ricky
